As someone highly sensitive, I’ve found that participating in Facebook groups can be a mixed bag.
While I appreciate the sense of community and the opportunity to connect with others who share similar interests, I’ve also noticed that it can be overwhelming and triggering for my nervous system, especially as I feel things more deeply.
Many people in these groups are strangers and are not invested in my future.
It’s hard to feel comfortable sharing my innermost thoughts and feelings in a group when I haven’t established a foundation of trust and safety.
For me, investing in one-on-one support has been a wiser choice.
Working with my own personal coach or therapist allows me to explore my emotions and experiences in a safe and supportive space.
I can delve deeper into my challenges and receive personalised guidance and strategies that suit my unique situation.
This has been helpful for me as a sensitive soul, as it allows me to build resilience and self-awareness in a way that feels empowering and authentic.
While I still appreciate the value of Facebook groups, I’ve learned that they may not be the best fit for me.
By prioritising one-on-one support, I can cultivate a stronger sense of self and navigate challenging situations with greater ease and confidence.
Ultimately, investing in myself in this way has allowed me to release past grievances, develop greater self-trust and be more fully awake and engaged in life.
That’s why I choose to support women one-on-one and invite them to work with me so that I can offer the same kind of personalised guidance and support that has been so valuable to me.
