You have come into the world to enjoy this wonderful life through this beautiful body. Celebrate your femininity!
Society, family, school; all condition us to believe certain things about what it is to be a woman. We are supposed to act in a certain way, speak in a certain way and behave in a certain way. Living our life trying to meet these expectations of others makes us lose touch with our True Self. We forget how to celebrate our femininity. We also forget how to rejoice in the individuality of our Soul that goes beyond gender roles.
Celebrating your womanhood is important. But it is also important to accept and integrate, what society might call your ‘masculine’ side. Let go of all those meaningless things you were taught; to sit in a certain way, to laugh in a certain way, to be modest, to be shy, to forever be self-sacrificing and self-annihilating. Be yourself without caring about what anyone else thinks or wants of you. Do not accept anyone’s judgment of you because those who truly love you will never judge you. Allow yourself to enjoy all the pleasures of life without guilt. You have every right to like what you like.
No one shall judge you for it! Do not seek approval. Know that you are perfect, you are Divine. You are the daughter of the infinite Universe! Your gender role has only been created by society. Do what feels true to your Soul. Let yourself be free; free from the expectations of others, free from your own judgments, free from trying to fit into the mould. In your freedom, you shall rediscover that place of eternal peace which lies within the depths of your own heart.
Fulfil all your roles — as a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a sister-in-law, a mother-in-law – but do not make any of them your sole identity. You are timeless, you are genderless, you are more than this body.
Do not forget to celebrate this body as it is your glorious vehicle for experiencing life. Nourish it with the best and most wholesome foods you can find, pamper it with massages and ‘me’ time. Put on your favourite dress, apply your choicest perfume, and make a date night with your own Self. Spend the time doing what you like doing most, but first, look in the mirror and say to yourself, “You are gorgeous, you are beautiful, I love you.”
Become your own lover, your own greatest admirer. The radiance of your feminine Self shall shine bright illuminating the hearts of all those around you!
